In 2020, I took a sabbatical from traditional work to spend time with family, travel, and start a micro-SaaS business called TechBlocks. As of the start of 2023, TechBlocks is earning $117k (largely passive) yearly revenue and >60% in revenue YoY while maintaining a ~97% profit margin (see www.techblocksco.com)

As a one-person business, I’ve worn many hats, including:

• Identifying the business opportunity

• Running user research

• Writing 99% of the code

• Designing the product and marketing materials

• Hiring YouTube influencers

• Outsourcing customer support

• Outsourcing graphic design/animation
